The Six Pillars

Sovereignty

A community that owns its foundation cannot be displaced.

Build land, food, housing, communication, and lasting institutions throughout Black Atlanta.

Why It Matters

Sovereignty is the capacity to endure.

Programs come and go. Funding rises and falls. What lasts is what a community owns and controls: its land, its food, its housing, its communication, and its institutions.

Sovereignty focuses on building durable, community-owned infrastructure so Black Atlanta can withstand political, economic, and institutional change while remaining rooted in its neighborhoods.
